Celina ISD Investigation Clears District of Wrongdoing in Coach’s Child Pornography Arrest

Share

Caleb Elliott, a former middle school coach in the Celina Independent School District (ISD) in Texas, is facing criminal charges related to child exploitation and child pornography. Allegations include secretly recording sexually explicit images of boys in the school locker room.

The case prompted an independent review by the district to determine if any staff members had prior knowledge of the alleged crimes. That review found no evidence that Caleb Elliott’s father, Bill Elliott, the longtime head football coach and athletic director, or any other staff member knew about the offenses.

Following the investigation, Bill Elliott announced his retirement after more than 33 years of service. Additionally, Allison Ginn, principal of Moore Middle School where Caleb Elliott coached, resigned from her position. The district emphasized that the resignations were not linked to any wrongdoing by either administrator.

Multiple civil lawsuits have been filed against Caleb Elliott, and the number of alleged victims has grown as the investigation continues. Interim staff have been appointed to fill the athletic director and principal roles while permanent replacements are sought. Celina ISD continues to cooperate with law enforcement, reaffirming its commitment to student safety and community trust.
