Back in April 2023, 56 year old Michael Dale contacted Rylaarsdam through an escort site and paid her more than $11,000 for an extreme BDSM experience at his Escondido home. He specifically requested to be transformed into a living mummy. What followed was four straight hours of filming for her OnlyFans page.
Rylaarsdam wrapped Dale tightly from head to toe in layer after layer of Saran Wrap. She glued a pair of women’s boots onto his feet. Then she poured adhesive straight into his eyes to seal them shut. His wrists were bound, a plastic bag was placed over his head, and everything was secured with duct tape and more plastic wrap around his neck and mouth.
As Dale struggled to breathe, Rylaarsdam continued recording beside him, using a vibrator as part of the content she planned to upload. He slowly suffocated from asphyxiation. When first responders arrived after a 911 call, they found her attempting CPR on the unresponsive man. Dale was rushed to the hospital but died the next day.
Disturbingly, Rylaarsdam’s husband knew exactly what she was doing and actively helped run her OnlyFans “business.”
Originally charged with murder, the married mother of three accepted a plea deal for involuntary manslaughter. She now faces approximately four years in state prison.

On May 7, 2026, the judge accepted Michaela Rylaarsdam’s guilty plea to involuntary manslaughter in the 2023 death of client Michael Dale. The original second degree murder charge was dropped as part of the plea deal. She now faces approximately four years in state prison, with formal sentencing scheduled for June 2026.
