WAR.GOV/UFO has introduced the PURSUE Initiative, an interagency transparency effort focused on providing public access to declassified records related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena UAP. The initiative consolidates materials from across multiple U.S. government sources including the White House Office of the Director of National Intelligence the Department of Energy NASA the FBI and the All domain Anomaly Resolution Office AARO along with broader Intelligence Community contributions.

The program makes available a range of previously classified content including videos photographs sensor data and original source documents that have been reviewed for national security concerns. The stated goal is to increase transparency while ensuring that sensitive information remains protected in accordance with federal guidelines.

According to the official release the initiative follows a directive associated with President Donald J. Trump calling for expanded public access to UAP related materials. The effort is described as part of a broader push for government transparency regarding unexplained aerial observations that have been recorded over several decades.

Officials involved in the release including representatives from intelligence and defense related agencies emphasize that many of the documented UAP cases remain unresolved. While some data has been declassified the materials continue to be analyzed by relevant agencies to better understand the nature and origin of the observed phenomena.

The initiative also includes a rolling release schedule meaning additional files are expected to be made public over time as reviews are completed. This approach allows for continuous updates rather than a single mass disclosure event.

Supporters of the initiative highlight the importance of public access to government records in order to promote trust accountability and independent evaluation of the evidence. They argue that making these materials available allows citizens to review the same data considered by federal investigators.

At the same time officials caution that the release of information does not confirm conclusions about the origin or nature of UAP sightings. The documents represent observations reports and analysis collected over many years but do not necessarily provide definitive answers.

The PURSUE Initiative represents one of the most extensive coordinated efforts to centralize and publish UAP related materials in United States history. It reflects an ongoing shift toward structured transparency while balancing national security considerations and scientific investigation.

As new files are released the public will continue to gain access to historical and contemporary records that may contribute to a broader understanding of unexplained aerial phenomena.
